We’re drawn to 20th century art and architecture. We work across styles and design movements, but come back to the enduring clarity of mid-century modernism for inspiration. With each new collection, the details may change, but our aesthetic always remains clean and uncluttered.
Skill in the making
We believe quality starts with structure. That’s why we work with a cabinet-making specialist to perfect our frames, joinery and wood details. Every frame carries a 10-year warranty. Our people are trained by expert carpenters, leather specialists and upholsterers. It’s how we bring artisanal techniques to scale.
An eye for detail
It’s the details that make a piece of furniture stand out on the shop floor or an online store. We specialise in modernist hardware, joinery, wood veneers, woven cane, and wickers. Whether plating metals, creating bespoke finishes or crafting exposed wood frames, we’re able to bring time-honoured techniques to the mass markets. While known for our hand-crafted Italian leathers, we’ve also become a source of quality wovens and cotton velvets. In every material we use, the priority is texture, tactility and visual value.

Headboards
Our headboard collection is styled on the quintessential Carezza looks of our living room upholstery. Mid-century detailing is evident in the metal hardware, wood and tufted leather and fabric upholstery. We also offer a range of ottomans, benches and small occasional bedroom chairs to complete the look. Buyers are able to mix sofas and headboards in containers, with low MOQs.

Our signature leathers are soft and broken-in. You can see the natural variations in the hide and grain. We finish our leather with oils and waxes, not paints and polymers. By keeping our production in Italy, we ensure a high standard and a hand-touched process. Artisans with years of experience tan the leather and adjust each shade according to variations in the hides. Natural materials require skill to master, and our high-capacity team ensures that every batch is consistently beautiful.

The founding duo Alison and Dan in their home in Hong Kong. Daniel Feltham-White
Carezza’s Managing Director, Daniel cut his teeth as an upholsterer and in furniture production in the UK, and has since gone on to work in furniture industries around the globe. He’s built up a passionate repertoire of furniture knowledge, both in manufacturing and key retail markets, which he enthusiastically shares with buyers to help build productive collections.
Alison Gay
Carezza’s Creative Director, Alison grew up in South Africa and after moving to London, worked as a magazine design editor before founding Carezza in 2008. Alison’s broad knowledge of art and design, and her expertise in the workings of design-led retail, make her a favourite among creative brands.

Our Hong Kong head office is home to our studio, where we host visitors for design and merchandising workshops and creative strategy sessions. Here you can explore our design and materials library and engage with our leadership team as well as our merchandisers, sales team, accounts and customers service departments.
Leather tannery

Trained in the craft of fine leather-making, our Italian team from Vicenza, are skilled in creating artisanal hand-made leathers. Established sourcing knowledge ensures that only the best hides are picked and the teams’ technical skills achieve the fine balance of authentic looks and consistency from large scale production.
The Glasshouse
Vietnam
Located in Ho Chi Minh, our showroom is open by appointment only. At The Glasshouse, buyers can view new collections, customise products, merchandise collections and meet our team. We also invite you to visit us twice a year for our new Carezza Collection launches in March and October.
Manufacturing facility

Our factory, situated outside of Ho Chi Minh, is a world-class facility producing hand-made products at sizeable volumes. Skilled at frame construction and detailed upholstery techniques, the dedicated upholstery line is focussed on the details. Carezza’s team of quality inspectors oversee every product to leave the factory.

Carezza is a privately held company with teams in London, Italy, Hong Kong and Vietnam. Our products are all made and shipped from Vietnam by full container load. We’re experienced in corporate processes, and factory audits, and we comply with rigorous policies and standards, from the USA (California) to the UK and European Union. We have an in-house testing laboratory, as well as skilled quality control teams for products, packaging, and labelling.
